THE BASICS

What it is and how it sounds

What is Service AI?

Service AI is an Australian AI automation agency. We build AI voice receptionists that answer your business calls 24/7, qualify the caller and book jobs straight into your calendar — plus a complete AI front desk that covers your website, bookings and follow-up as well.

What does the AI receptionist actually do on a call?

It answers straight away, works out what the caller needs, books them in or takes their details, and then sends you a text and an email with the full transcript and a plain-English summary. If the job is urgent, you get flagged immediately rather than finding out in the morning.

Will it sound robotic to my customers?

It is built to sound like a real receptionist with an Australian accent, not an overseas call centre and not a robot reading a script. It is also trained on your actual services, prices and hours, so it answers like someone who works for you. The honest test is hearing it — book a free call and you can talk to it yourself.

What happens if it can't answer a caller's question?

It doesn't guess. It takes a message with the caller's details and what they need, and sends it straight to you so you can call them back. We would rather it say "I'll get someone to call you" than invent a price or a timeframe.

What happens with urgent or emergency calls?

It is trained to spot urgency and flag it to you straight away, so a burst pipe at 11pm reaches you instead of sitting in a summary until morning. You tell us during setup what counts as urgent for your business and how you want to be reached.

How do I know what it said to my customers?

You get a full transcript and a plain-English summary after every single call, by text and email. Nothing happens on your phone line that you can't see.

YOUR PHONE

Your number and how calls reach it

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. We give the AI its own number behind the scenes and forward your existing business number through to it. Your number stays exactly as it is on your van, your cards and your Google listing — nothing changes for your customers. If you would rather advertise the new number as a second line instead, you can do that too.

Can I still answer my own phone?

Of course. Plenty of people have it pick up only when they can't get to the phone, or only after hours. We set the forwarding up however you want it.

Can it handle more than one call at once?

It is built to take more than one call at a time, so you are not sending people to voicemail while you are already on the phone. If you regularly get calls landing together, mention it on your free call and we will make sure your setup is configured for it.

What about spam and robocalls?

They still ring through, but they stop being your problem. The AI picks up, works out there is no real job there, and you just see it in your summary instead of climbing off a roof to answer a scam call. If the same number keeps hassling you, tell us and we will look at blocking it.

Does it work after hours and on weekends?

Yes — 24/7, including nights, weekends and public holidays. That is usually where the missed jobs are, and it is the main reason people sign up.

CALL VOLUME

How many calls you get, and what happens if you go over

How many calls are included?

The AI Receptionist includes 80 answered calls a month, which works out to roughly 400 minutes. Full Front Desk includes 120 answered calls, roughly 600 minutes. Extra calls beyond that are $2 each on either plan.

What happens if I go over my included calls?

The AI never stops answering — it does not cut off when you reach your limit. Calls past your included allowance are $2 each, and we give you a heads up before you get there. If you are regularly over, we would move you to a bigger plan rather than let you pay overage every month.

Why do you count calls instead of minutes?

Because a minute is not something you can picture and a call is. Counting minutes also means a chatty customer costs you more than a quick one, which has nothing to do with how valuable the job was. Worth knowing: at $199 for 80 calls, your included calls work out to $2.49 each, so the $2 overage rate is actually cheaper than your included rate — going over never costs you more per call than staying under.

PRICING

What it costs

How much does it cost?

The AI Receptionist is normally $249 a month with a $249 setup fee. Full Front Desk is normally $449 a month with a $449 setup fee. Founding clients currently pay $199 and $349 a month, with the setup fee waived entirely and the first 14 days free. Full breakdown on the deals page.

Are prices in Australian dollars, and do they include GST?

Yes to both. Every price we quote is in Australian dollars and includes GST, so what you are quoted is what you pay. Nothing gets added on at the invoice.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No contract and no lock-in. Every plan is month-to-month and you can cancel any time before your next billing date. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.

What do I get for the setup fee?

The setup fee covers building the thing around your business — your services, your pricing rules, your hours, your calendar, full testing, a tuning round and handover. It is not a sign-up fee, it is the build. Founding clients pay nothing for it.

Is it actually worth $199 a month?

It pays for itself in one job. Most service businesses lose more than that to a single missed call, and it is answering every call, day and night, not just the ones you get to. At the founding rate that is under $50 a week. If you want to put your own numbers on it, use the missed-call calculator.

Why is the price shown as "from"?

Because the exact quote depends on your call volume and what systems it needs to connect to. We confirm a fixed price on a free 15-minute consult, so there are no surprises after that.

FOUNDING OFFER

The founding-client deal

What is the founding-client offer?

We are taking on 10 founding businesses Australia-wide. Founding clients get the setup fee waived, the first 14 days free, and the founding rate — $199 a month for the AI Receptionist or $349 for Full Front Desk. In return we ask for honest feedback and a review once you have seen it work.

Do founding clients pay the setup fee?

No, it is waived completely. That is $249 on the AI Receptionist or $449 on Full Front Desk, down to nothing — and you get your first 14 days free on top of that. It is only for the first 10 businesses.

How long do I keep the founding price?

It is a founding rate, not a fixed-term one, so we will not promise you a number of years — anyone who does is making a promise they have not written down. What we will say is that there is no lock-in either way, and if our pricing ever changed you would get 30 days' written notice first and could leave before it took effect. Nothing turns up on an invoice as a surprise.

What happens after the free 14 days?

Your first monthly payment is charged and the service keeps running exactly as it was — nothing changes on your phone line. If it has not earned its keep in those 14 days, cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing at all. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period.

Why only 10 founding spots?

Because founding clients get our full attention during the build, and we can only do that properly for a small number of businesses at a time. Once the spots are taken it goes back to standard pricing.

SETUP

Getting it live

How long does it take to go live?

About two weeks end to end, from the day we get your details to the day it is answering your calls. Most of that is building it around your business and testing it properly, so it is right before a real customer ever hears it.

What do you need from me?

Seven things: your services and roughly how you price them, your opening hours, the areas you cover, a link to your calendar, your business registration document, the number you want calls forwarded from, and how you want urgent jobs handled. We send you a template to fill in, or we go through it together on a call.

Why do you need my business documents?

Only to provision the phone number your AI answers on. Telcos require proof the business is real before they will issue a number, so it is a regulatory requirement rather than one of ours. Your registration details are used for that and nothing else.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Nothing gets installed on your phone. We forward your business number through to the service, and that is it.

FULL FRONT DESK

The bigger plan

What is Full Front Desk?

Full Front Desk covers your whole front desk, not just the phone. You get the AI receptionist answering every call, a smart website taking bookings and answering questions online, your social media posted and scheduled from the same place, automated review requests and quote follow-up, and one dashboard for every enquiry wherever it came from.

What's the difference between the two plans?

The AI Receptionist covers your phone. Full Front Desk covers your phone and everything online as well — the website, the bookings, the chat, the reviews and the follow-up, all in one place. Most people start with the receptionist and move up once the phone side is running. There are only these two plans; the smart website is part of Full Front Desk, not something we sell separately.

Do I own the website?

Your domain and your content are yours, always. The website itself runs on our system as part of your plan, the same way your phone number and your dashboard do. If you ever leave, you keep your domain and we hand over your content. You can also keep your existing domain — we point it at the new site.

TECHNICAL

Integrations, data and privacy

What does it connect to?

Your calendar — Google or Outlook — so it can see your real availability and book people straight in. That is what is included as standard on every plan.

Can it connect to ServiceM8, Tradify or simPRO?

Not as part of the standard plan, and we would rather say that plainly than imply otherwise. These can be built as custom development — tell us what you are running and we will scope it on your free call. The cost depends on how complex the integration is and how many you need, and you get a fixed price in writing before any work starts.

Is my data safe, and where is it stored?

Your calls, transcripts and customer details sit in your own account on the platform we build on, HighLevel. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the platform holds an ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate and an annual SOC 2 Type II attestation covering security, availability and confidentiality. Those are the platform's, not ours — we would rather say that plainly than imply we hold them.

The servers are in the United States, on Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services. Your call audio and transcripts also pass through our telephony carrier and the AI voice provider that powers the agent, which are US-based too. We use all of it to run your service and nothing else, and we never sell it. Our privacy policy sets out the categories of provider involved, and we will tell you the current list on request.

GETTING STARTED

The first step

What's the first step?

A free 15-minute consult. We look at how your calls come in now, what you are missing, and confirm a fixed price. No obligation, and you can hear the AI on the call.

Where are you based, and who runs Service AI?

We are based in Brisbane and Sydney and work with businesses Australia-wide — everything is set up remotely, so it does not matter which state you are in. Service AI is a partnership: a small team of technical and business specialists. The same people build your system and look after it afterwards, which is also why we only take on a few clients at a time.
